Amitabh Bachchan Hospitalised In Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital; Bollywood Star Undergoes Angioplasty – Reports
Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, 81, has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai for medical treatment. While the reason for his hospitalization is not immediately clear, sources mentioned that he is undergoing treatment for peripheral issues and not heart-related concerns. An angioplasty procedure was performed on a clot in his leg, not on his heart.

Prior to news of his hospitalization, Bachchan took to X (formerly Twitter) to share posts in his unique style. In post number 4,950, he expressed gratitude, and in another post with the same number, he encouraged everyone to support his Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) team, Majhi Mumbai. Majhi Mumbai recently secured a victory against Chennai Singams in the ISPL - T10 league, advancing to the final with an exceptional performance by Abhishek Dalhor.

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is set to appear alongside Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone in Prabhas and Disha Patani's Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. Additionally, he is making his Tamil debut in "Vettaiyan, featuring Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati.
